BEARS FINISH 2011 ON A HIGH NOTE

I want to thank each and every player and fan for their commitment to the Bears this past year.  It has been a blast playing ball every Monday night with all of you.  Since 2004, this team has had great success with a few titles along the way.  The friendships and laughter that I have experienced over the past 8 years far out ways the championships we have secured along the way. 

Although we lost to Old School in the title game, I am very proud of what this team accomplished.  Starting the season 0-3, back to back wins against Iron Works and Old School, ending the season at 5-5 while sweeping the season series against Iron Works which bumped them out of the play-offs was a blast.  continuing our journey in the play-offs, we knocked out the 1 seed in Loft and found ourselves in the title game. 

I look forward to many more fun filled seasons with this squad, I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and happy New Year.  We will pick back up in late January in the hopes to return to the play-offs.  Thanks again to everyone.

- Rookie Jimmy Labrie wins the batting title with a 605% average while leading the team in singles with 23.

-  Tod Resnick wins break out player of the year hitting 529% while leading the team with 19 RBI's and 4 triples.
