Burnsville Girls 10-U Fastpitch Team for Summer 2003 had a great season. Besides qualifying for the nationals with their 3rd place finish at the Eagan "Down n'Dirty" tourney, they finished in the top 10 in the rain drenched State tournament in Mankato, and then went on to win the State Tier III Championship this past fall. I want to extend my thanks to players and parents for committing to the program, and my congratulations on your championship win.

The 10s look to have another great season with many returning players. Work hard for coach Rick and good things can happen. I look forward to watching you play this summer. Remember, charge the ball, bend your knees, and get your glove dirty...

appropriate manner
I have witnessed a few physical basketball games in the past couple of weeks. I thought BAC was suppose to be for fun! I'm starting to wonder about some of these parents and coaches that are encouraging this violent physical behavior of their children? What are they teaching them? That it's ok when someone falls or gets slammed into the floor by another player? These kind of outrages actions at this age is totally inappropriate. Do we have to start having an extra ref just to control the parents on the sidelines that are swearing and encouraging such physical behavior of their children. We wonder why some children are the way they are, all we have to do is look at the parent who's setting such an example on the sideline!
