CAYFL Programs:

Our Football and Cheer programs focus on teaching the fundamentals of the sports in a fun and positive environment. Our Associations have seasoned coaches at all levels who have proven to be focused on enriching the experience of our young players and cheerleaders which has lead to a highly satisfied parent & child experience.

The Season starts in August and runs up toDecember. Games are played on Saturdays and practices are typically during the weekday in the evenings. After a pre-conditioning period in August, in which teams practice up to five nights a week, games start in September and teams may practice up to three nights a week thereafter.

CAYFL Football Includes:

Tackle Football - Boys/Girls ages 7-15. Includes approximately 10 regular season games plus bowl games or playoffs leading to the National Championships in Tucson the week of November 21. Check the "Documents" section for the age & weight matrix to determine where your child will play.

Flag Football - Boys/Girls ages 6-8 (no weight limitations). Includes approximately 8-10 games. Flag Football provides a competitive, yet less physical, introduction to the fundamentals of football. Practice begins in mid-August with games starting in mid-September.

Cheerleading - Boys/Girls ages 6-15. Provides an opportunity to develop "Spirit" skills in the context of a team environment. NO CHEER COORDINATOR AT THIS TIME

***All mandatory equipment is provided by the Associations for participants during each operating season. CAYFL is dedicated to ensuring that all equipment meets League Safety Standards.
