AZ Sky teams will head to Puerto Rico in May to experience a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in a mission and cultural exchange program. This educational mission will include a community service project at an orphanage in San Juan, visiting historical sites and learning the Puerto Rican culture and exchanging volleyball skill clinics with local volleyball clubs from the island. We will host and participate in a volleyball clinic/Round Robin tournament with Puerto Rico teams so players can compete and practice techniques learned in clinics, and interact and play with players from a different country. We will then finish the trip with visit to the Rain Forest. More information to follow-

AZ Sky is now offering additional Training Opportunities

AZ Sky is now offering additional training opportunities to enhance our athletes performance on the court. Volleyball Plyometrics is designed to increase vertical jump and improve hand speed. This program will enable muscle to reach maximum force in the shortest time (speed). Plyometrics along with a dynamic weight training program (strength) is the recommended method to achieve maxiumum results. Strength + Speed = Power. For more information click on our strength and conditioning link for training times and details.

Arizona Sky Volleyball Club
Unveils
New Logo

Arizona Sky Volleyball Club Director, Mary Beth Svorinic introduces a new logo that embodies our core philosophy:  Teamwork, Integrity and Humility - embedded within the ARIZONA SKY VOLLEYBALL CLUB.

"Displayed in a circle within a circle emphasizing continuity and strength, this new symbol is a visual reminder of the club's commitment and promise to provide a positive environment that will help each member of our family to achieve their athletic as well as their life goals", said Mary Beth.

GOLD is the club's primary color representing SKY and our striving to get to the gold division in tournament championships. Gold is also one of the more prominent, pronounced colors that can be easily used as reference by college recruiters and our own family, especially at a large event. We encourage our team members to proudly wear their GOLD color jersey at tournament events.
