In 2009 District 2 provided baseball & softball programs to more than 7500 youth in our community. Great job by our Volunteer District Presidents, Board Members, Coaches and Umpires! OUR THANKS TO ALL OF THE VOLUNTEERS THAT KEEP THIS AMERICAN TRADITION GOING!!!
Arizona District 2 includes 18 Little Leagues west of I-17 including Phoenix, Glendale, Peoria, Tolleson, Litchfield Park, Goodyear, Avondale, Surprise, and Buckeye. Little League is based on the premise of neighborhood programs, therefore each League is restricted to certain boundary limitations. The League your child plays in is determined by the his/her Primary Residence. CLICK My Site News at left for AZ District 2 Map and League Web Sites - Spring Registration generally begins mid-December - early January. Each League will establish their own specific registration dates, so check the individual League web site for registration information in your area.

ALL DISTRICT 2 Staff, Local League Administrators, Team Managers/Coaches, and Umpires ARE VOLUNTEERS. Without their dedication and gracious gift of their time, your child would not have a quality program. Be sure to THANK THESE PEOPLE when you are at the field!

ALL UMPIRES ARE VOLUNTEERS, please do your part to volunteer to umpire at your local league games. WELCOME to our new 2010 League Presidents and WELCOME BACK for those dedicated Presidents who are returning for another year. Monthly Presidents Meeting is the 1st Wednesday of the Month at 7 pm. Please mark your calendars now. Meeting location will be emailed to League Presidents a day or two before the meeting. ***Please Check the LOCAL LEAGUE CHECKLIST (listed under Handouts at left) for a reminder of those things that need to be addresses each month.
