The AZ Desert Heat 16U Team went 6-1
to Win the USSSA
On Your Mark, Get Set, Go II Tournament
"A" Division
This now places this team at #2 Nationwide in the USSSA Power Ratings
The Team played very well against the East Valley Pride Bird Team in the Championship Game. Christina completely shut down the hitting of the pride with a great pitching performance to give them their second shut out loss of the USSSA Season. Sara came in the last inning to shut down the last 2 batters and give the team the win. There were no stolen bases recorded against the team, but then again only 3 batters made it to a base safely. The Bats were alive and swinging with 9 hits that were hit too hard to be handled or were hit through the gaps on the field. Great Job Ladies, what a Team Effort !!!
