Welcome to the Official Home Page of the Arizona District 2 Little League® Volunteer Umpires.
The 2009 regular season is over and I would like to thank everybody for all the hard work and dedication to District 2 Little League Baseball.
From June 14th until July 29th we covered 15 Tournament of Champion games, 116 District Allstars, 48 Little League State Tournament and 48 Junior State tournament games. We covered 267 total games and only twice had a 2 man crew. Three and 4 man were the norm. It is an honor to have worked with the best volunteers in the state!
On March 5th, 6th and 7th District 2 will be hosting the Western Region Outreach Clinic. This is the second year in a row we have held one in Arizona. Western Region will be coming over to teach the clinic and all instructors have attended or trained at the school in San Bernardino.
Go to the 2010 Outreach Clinic for all the handouts. The cost will be $75. Our district fundraising should cover this for District Umps. I will be in contact with other districts. The clinic is open to all Little League Umpires in the state of Arizona. Sign up early, more information to come!!

The District 2 Umpire Association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote, develop, supervise and to voluntarily assist Umpires who participate in Little League Baseball. We will accomplish this by Training Clinics and personally working with crews throughout the District.
