Dear Potential Azalea Little League Sponsor:

First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to consider becoming a sponsor. The City of St. Petersburg or any other sole proprietor does not fund Azalea Little League. In fact our Little League is the only remaining field that is completely, volunteer operated. Without the commitment from our parents, community and Sponsors (like you) our children would not receive the benefits of playing or building teamwork related skills.

With the help of your sponsorship you will be supporting our Little League kids ages 4 to18 and our Challenger League kids ages 4-22. Sponsoring these kids provides them with new equipment, safe well-maintained fields, uniforms, and the opportunity to compete in tournaments.

Our newly appointed Board Members have made it their commitment to make sure Azalea Little League is a fun and safe environment place to play. We have dedicated our time and resources to the kids and the league. Over the years the fields and children have diminished due to the economy. Through our board’s commitment and effort, our new board was able to have an amazing Fall Ball Season. We managed to increase our number of sign-ups by over 100%. Our district has taken notice and we have received positive feedback and acknowledgement from the District 5 Little League Board. This is an honor and big deal! But we are still a long ways away from where we need our fields to be at.

Lastly, it is with your sponsorship that Azalea Little League can remain up and running for these future baseball players. Please consider that with many schools cutting out Phys Ed this is a great opportunity to keep our children active and healthy.

There is no amount too big or too small, that we wouldn’t appreciate.

Sincerely,
Alberto Santos
President of Azalea Little League
