AYSO's Five Philosophies Since 1964
AYSO Region 0124
Region 124 is part of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO). The Region serves the Northwest and Powell communities in Knox County, TN(USA). At the present the program includes approximately 600 boys and girls from ages 4 to 18. Everyone plays at least half the game in AYSO matches.
AYSO is a completely volunteer organization, except for a few positions at the national level. The region is always in need of more volunteers to keep the region running. The success and enjoyment of the region depends on having enough referees, coaches, team parents and asst. coaches. The region has a wonderful and effective training program to help anyone and everyone who would like to help. Besides these positions, we need volunteers to help with these other positions: someone who has time to help develop a regional newsletter, webmaster, Jersey Coordinator or Concession Manager. If you would like to become a volunteer, please contact a 'Board' member or come to the next registration and ask how you can help.
