Hello Baseball and Softball Parents,
This is to let you know that the 2010 AYLL Baseball / Softball on-line registration is open. To get started, please visit https://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=1806689. When you get there hit the REGISTER NOW button. This is a registration tool that was successfully used for Fall Ball. As an alert, the service we use has some of their content added in and has some email news options checked by default. If you don’t want to receive periodic emails from Active.com, make sure you de-select these options.
For 2010 we are going to adopt what most other area programs are already doing…mandatory volunteering. This will help us keep costs low (no increase from 2009). We’ve talked to many people and know there is a desire to help out but most don’t know what is available to do. Please go to the "League Forms" folder for a description of positions available.
The sign-up form requires you to pick an age bracket consistent with your child’s age as of 4/30/2010. If you feel your child can play up a level, still sign up for the correct age bracket. You can then contact the league with your request and we will let you know more about tryouts and what you would need to do to get your child placed at the most appropriate level.
