Welcome!
Team_2006
The Arvada West Youth girls basketball
program continues to roll on! Our basketball program,
operated under the Impact Basketball Association, has
become the model program in our area.

Important!

The Arvada West Youth Girls Basketball program, organized through
in any way affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or funded by Arvada
West High School or Jeffco Public Schools. Participation in the Arvada
West Youth Girls Basketball Program is not a prerequisite to participation
in any Arvada West High School or Jeffco Public Schools athletic program.

Initial Information

Our teams are organized in the fall and prepared to compete in the Gold
Crown Foundation's competitive basketball league in the winter. Among other
rules, Gold Crown requires that at least 70% of a team's roster must attend
schools (elementary or middle) that feed the local high school

Where do you go to School?

Middle Schools
Drake - Oberon

Elementary
Allendale - Campbell - Fairmont
Fremont - Stott - Vanderhoof

The bulk of our competitive players
come from these schools and fill our
teams that compete in Gold Crown.

We do have had some players that go
to local private schools, such as
Faith and St. Peter and Paul and St. Anne's.

Also, if we have spots open, we do
allow some kids from other schools
to play in our program.

Competitive Players

We are attracting some of Arvada's best
athletes because our program is challenging
and rewarding. Our practices are highly
detailed and very structured and organized.
We also do our best to work with multi-sport
athletes!

Although there are no guarantees at tryouts,
we are also known for attracting and working with
players that do not consider themselves
competitive...but simply recreational. We
do not turn players away unless we have to!

It does not matter if you are highly competitive...or
recreational. We try hard so that you have a place in our
program!

Coaches

We are always in need of coaching! Coaches
are trained under the Impact system and gain
great experience for a further career in
coaching. Please contact us if interested!
