Renegades Hockey Club

AWF High School Hockey Club Mission Statement
The AWF High School Hockey Club is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the development of today's high school hockey player through athletic and academic excellence, which will provide a safe and responsible environment for the high school hockey player.

Provide: The high school students of all skill levels an opportunity to play organized hockey for their community.

Development: To provide quality-coaching instruction to improve, educate and develop the skills and abilities of the participating high school player. To support and encourage programs that train, educate players, coaches, parents, volunteers, and board members.

Social Maturity: To provide the high school hockey player a healthy, constructive environment to develop socially. To instill them with the qualities such as teamwork, dependability, loyalty, unselfishness, sacrifice, initiative, fair play, and hard work.

Educational Advancement: To provide assistance and opportunities for
scholarship awards to the most deserving student athletes for their education after high school.

Opportunity: To participate in events that provides the high school player an opportunity to showcase their talents and play hockey after high school.

Promote: To promote and publicize the hockey club and increase membership in order to obtain local sponsorships for financial support. This will help in purchasing team equipment and provide club scholarship award.

Recruit Volunteers: who demonstrate qualities for role models to the high school player. To develop adminstrators to replace board member position perhaps even your own.

To Communicate: With parents by holding player orientation, parent/team meetings, to ask questions and address problems throughout the season
