AV TROJANS
The Antelope Valley Trojans are a group of 13 and under boys who came together as a AA Division team in the Fall of 2006. Under the stewardship of Brian Scanlan, Allen McBroom and Jim Phillips, along with our parents, our goal is to promote player growth and development culminating in an invitation to compete in the 2009 National American Tournament of Champions in Cooperstown, NY. We will attain this goal by placing ourselves in the face of strong competition and, in accordance, fine tune our skills while maintaining the values of teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship.
Our boys have shown coaches, parents, and spectators alike, time and time again, their strong will by continuing to play hard and not give up even in the most adverse conditions. Many times we have seen them overcome the odds and press ahead to capture the Championship all the while maintaining a positive attitude, a fighting spirit, and the desire to succeed.
Though only being together for a short time, the Antelope Valley Trojans have received the support and sponsorship of many leaders in our community providing our team with tools and monetary support to achieve the dream of Cooperstown. This support is crucial to the continuance and vitality of our moving forward and we are forever grateful to those most generous and giving individuals, companies, and corporations who continue to believe in us and support “The Dream”.
