Monday October 7th we have a friendly with TMSA at Kipling field at 5:00.
We need to be at the field at 4:45. Wear blue. This week we have practice
on Monday and Thursday. Let's take Wednesday off as a team.
I have identified a couple of options for warmups for our team. They are
reasonably priced and I think should be very sharp. The cost for the
jacket and pants would be $65. My preference is to get a half zip jacket
because I think those are better for practice and warmup and look sharper.
However, I appreciate your input. I am looking for a jacket that sells
with black training pants or sells separate from pants, to which we would
add black pants. The cost is the same as I mentioned above. See below.
Are any of you interested in forming a basketball team for this winter?
The cost is $120 which includes a uniform. The practices and games are all
during the week only and the gyms for games are all in Jeffco. The season
starts with practice in November and runs through the end of February but
there is a Christmas break that corresponds with the school break. The
team would be a Wheat Ridge team.
Also, who is interested in playing indoor soccer? There are usually two
leagues. One starts in November and the other starts after the new year.
I think the cost is about $50 per player. I would recommend not playing in
the first league and giving some thought to the second league if there is
enough interest. As in the past, I would be happy to run the games, which
are all on Saturday, however, whether a player chooses to play or not makes
absolutely no difference to me. With the two U-12 teams in WRASA, I am
sure there will be plenty of players interested in playing.
