Monday, March 12 2007 Coaches elected. Coaches for the 2007 Aurora Little League Baseball season were elected on Monday March 5th Elected Coaches are: Major League Division Reds - Dave Wonderlich Angels - Ron Alley Pirates - Pat Schwing Tigers - Steve Plummer Minor League Division Dodgers - Jeff Clayton Indians - Bill Rector Angels - Ron Alley Cubs - Ron Barrows A's - Bill Rose Orioles - Ronnie Morehead Monday, March 12 Aurora Little League Baseball tryouts a huge success !!! Aurora Little League Baseball tryouts held on Saturday March 10th went off without a hitch. Boys & Girls ages 7 thru 12 participated in 4 separate drills to determine skill levels. The drills included fielding, throwing, hitting and base running. At the conclusion of the tryouts, managers and coaches grabbed some lunch and moved to the Aurora fire house for the player draft. I am proud to say the draft was the most organized and professionally ran draft I have seen or participated in. Board members and coaches........AWESOME JOB!!!!!!!!!! There was no problems. I have never seen this in years past. |
