The Augusta Flames is a Travel softball organization located within the Central Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. The teams consist of players from multiple schools within the Shenandoah, Southern Valley and Massanutten districts.The Augusta Flames currently includes, 5 age-based teams, at the 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U age groups. Tournament Results
November 5-6, 2011 - The 10U Augusta Flames travelled to Powhatan, Va. to participate in the NSA Eastern Fall State Championship. The lady flames won their pool play bracket on Saturday by defeating the Lady Titians and the Hampton Roads Vipers. In Sunday's Gold Brachet elinimation games the Flames defeated RBI Inferno (Chester, Va.) 8-3 and defeated Orion Hunter (Chesapeake, Va.), 3 to 2 in eight innings which was one of the most exciting games of the tournament. The Flames fell just short of claiming the State Championship as they lost to the Richmond Radiers. The 10U Flames went 4-1 during the tournament and ran their 2011-2012 record to 22 and 1.
NSA State Championship Runner Up
October 22-23, 2011 - The 10U Augusta Flames ran thier record to 18-0 by winning the Softball Nation Breast Cancer Awareness Tournament in Charlottesville, Va Sunday afternoon. The Flames defeated a very talented Fluvanna Fireballs team 6 to 5 to claim their third fall ball tournament title. The 10U Flames went 6-0 during the tournament. Tournament Champions
October 8-9, 2011 - The 10U Augusta Flames claimed their second tournament championship by capturing the "Cavalier Classic" in Charlottesville, Va. The Flames defeated the Madison Mistics 13-2 in the title game. The 10U Flames ran their 2011-2012 record to 12-0 by going 6-0 during the tournament.

September 10-11, 2011 - The newly formed 2011-2012 10U Augusta Flames claimed the Softball Nation "Hoo Throwdown" 10U Championship Sunday evening in Charlottesville, Va. by defeating the Stealerz (out of Roanoke, Va.) in the title game. The 10U Flames tallied a 6-0 record during the championship weekend.
