Thursday, July 17 9/10 Americans All-Stars Finish 3rd Place in District Tournament The 9/10 Americans were shutout by the Hamilton A team then came up short only scoring 1 run against the Hamilton B team. Wednesday, July 16 10/11 All-Stars Finish 3rd Place in District Tournament The 10/11 All-Stars played a close game on Wednesday, July 15th but ended up falling to East Hamilton 4-5. Tuesday, July 15 9/10 Americans All-Stars On A Roll The ATLL 9-10 American League All Stars won their first tournament game on Saturday with an impressive offensive hitting barrage over the Middletown Little League All Stars. The Americans only trailed early in the second 3-1 before posting 6 runs in the top of the second, and never looking back on their way to a 25-10 victory. Their next opponent East Hamilton Blue withdrew from the tournament allowing the American their second win by forfeit. The team celebrated their win with a four inning scrimmage. Next opponent is the Hamilton West All Stars "A" Team on Tuesday Night at 8:15 Tuesday, July 15 10/11 All-Stars Bring Home Another Win The ATLL Lightning defeated Loveland L.L. Monday evening 6-1 to advance. Only three teams remain alive in the tournament. Next game is Wednesday evening at Juilfs #1 (Brenamen Field) versus either Hamilton East or Hamilton West. Tuesday, July 15 9/10 Nationals All-Stars Face Tough Competition
After a close game (0-1 vs. Warren County) on Saturday , July 12th, the 9/10 Nationals lost to the Loveland Americans Monday, July 14th to end their tournament bid. Monday, July 14 10/11 All-Stars Split First Two Games of District Tournament The Lightning, ATLL's 10-11 All-Star team, lost their first game to Hamilton - West on Saturday in the Ohio District 9 Tournament, but defeated Warren County L.L. on Sunday afternoon, 5-4, on the strength of a bottom of the sixth rally. Kyle Greulach pitched 5+ innings of solid baseball, followed by Connor Lambert who closed the door in the top of the sixth. Outstanding defensive efforts were put in by Peter Aguilera behind the plate and Zach Von Holle at second base. Richard Wendel scored two of the Lightning's runs on the day, and Cole Litterski scampered home from third on Lambert's single through the left side of the infield for the victory. The Lightning next plays Loveland L.L. Monday the 14th, at 6:30 p.m. at Juilfs #1 (Brennamen Field). Four teams remain alive in the tournament: ATLL, Loveland L.L., Hamilton - West, and Hamilton - East. Come out and support ATLL Baseball! Monday, July 14 Juniors All-Stars Finish 3rd Place in District Tournament The ATLL Juniors lost to New Miami on Sunday, July 13th. The team got off to a rough start and could not recover from a big first inning for New Miami. The kids played hard, did not give up, thought the tournament was fun, and had a baseball experience they'll remember for a long time. Monday, July 14 Majors All-Stars Finish 2nd Place in District Tournament The Majors All-Stars finished the district tourney in 2nd place this year to West Side Hamilton. Final score in the championship game on Saturday, July 12th was 1-5. Monday, June 23 Giants Win the 4A Post-Season Tournament Congratulations to the Giants who defeated the Mets to the win the post-season tournament! Anderson Township Little League, Inc. (ATLL) is an all-volunteer official Little League Baseball Program and is part of the Ohio District 9 National Little League Charter serving Anderson Township, Mt. Washington, Newtown and Pierce Township. ATLL is celebrating its 10th year and has grown to become the largest Little League in Southwest Ohio with close to 800 players playing on 64 teams. The organization was founded to develop the skills of each player while creating a positive environment in which to play baseball and enjoy America’s favorite pastime. |
