Bring On The 2013 Season!

The Atlantic County Hammerheads are a competitive traveling youth baseball teamFounded years ago with the goal of inspiring boys who love the game to learn and to play their best.  Developing confidence and learning the game through teamwork and responsibility are at the core of the program's foundation.  Losses teach the boys how to deal with adversity and inspire them to work harder while wins are viewed as opportunity to teach the boys how to be humble and build strong character.

The Team is comprised of families throughout the towns of Atlantic & Cape May Counties including but not limited to Galloway Twp, Margate, Ocean City, Egg Harbor Twp, Egg Harbor City, Northfield & Atlantic City.  The Team plays its home games at the picturesque Chelsea League field in Atlantic City overlooking the waterfront and skyline.

Thanks for visiting with us and hope to see you in the stands at an upcoming game!

This year certainly produced a significant amount of excitement due to the over welling # and value of auction items donated. 2012 War @ The Shore Champs!

The boys are playing great ball and having fun each game along the way. After dropping a few games in early April each player used those learning opportunities to make their games more complete. Working harder in practice and supporting their teammates every chance they get has made the team stronger than ever. The end of April through June has shown a 19 game winning streak for the boys.! The most recent excitement came from their Round Robin Tournament Victory in Marmora, NJ going 3 & 0. They played 3 talented and well coached SNJ Travel Teams; SJ Sand sharks, Hammonton Diamond Hawks & Mays landing Muck dogs Red. The boys had to dig deep and play their best to compete and win- and that’s exactly what they did!

Congratulations on your Victory Boys- we are truly proud of you all! Keep focused and finish your season strong!

The Team's Fall Season Finishes On A High Note!

The boys arrived at their home field late morning this past Sunday to a rematch vs. the Tri State Arsenal National Team.  This was a challenge each player wanted and was excited to play when the Arsenal graciousily accepted the invite.  The AC Hammerheads rose to the occassion and put on an exhibition demonstrating that they could play and win vs any team with their "A" game.  The boys hitting and base running was unstoppable and the pitching by Zach Fryling proved the same as the boys shut out their opponents in 4.5 innings Winning 10-0.  This sweet vicotry capped off a 6 Game Winning streak to end the Team's Fall Season Strong!    Congratulations on an Excellent 2011 Fall Season Boys!

Fun At The Annual Thanksgiving Day Football Game!

On a Warm Sunny Thanksgiving Day morning some of the players, coaches and friends met up for the Team's annual football game.  Coach Charlie came prepared with great offensive plays for both teams as he played a strong steady quarterback.  The teams were evenly matched and the score and lead seemed to change with every possession.  Ultimately, the time ran out as Coach Steve (game official) sounded the whistle.  The two teams ended with a 28-28 tie & high fives!  A great time on a great day~
