Welcome to the Atlanta Flames website. The Flames was formed several years ago as a woman's semi-professional team. The ladies are not paid for participation but aspire to make it to the next level (over seas or professional). All of the ladies are former college athletes, coaches, and professional players. We are a member of the WBCBL and have accomplished alot in the short period that we have been around (Southern Regional Champs, National Runner-Up, Several Players who have signed Professional Contracts Over Seas).
The Atlanta Flames have incorporated an AAU/ YBOA/Travel program that consist of girls from 10-16 years old. This program will run from mid February to late July. It will offer positive mentors, constant exercise, basketball camps, exposure tournaments, clinics, GoGirlGo! workshops, team outings, college and semi-pro basketball games, and college summer camps.
Mission
Our mission is to create a learning environment focused on the development of young ladies as a whole and to get them active and moving through the sport of basketball. Our goal is to help as many young ladies as possible go to college and be productive members of society. We are aiming to not only teach them the game of basketball but also to give them the tools they will need to succeed in life!
Your age group is determined by the age you were on June 30, 2007 at 11:59PM.
The FLAMES will participate in mostly TRAVEL and EXPOSURE tournaments in 2008!!!!!!
Please view our albums to see pictures of their accomplishments.
Thank you to my Sorors (OO-OOP) and Bruhs who supported the girls and helped to get them to Nationals!

Congratulations to the 15U Atlanta Flames. "The Flames played a complete game both offense and defense", said the 15U coach Charles Dent. The girls played as a team and swept the tournament going undefeated, and kept their composure to pull out a 1 point victory in the championship game against the Lady Monarchs. The Flames were lead by B. Strickland, T. High, B. Joyner-Williams, and J. McGarrah. Again, congratulations ladies and keep up the good work!!!!!!!
