AYBS serves over 340 baseball and softball players (boys and girls) in the age range of 5
years old to 16 years old. This translates into 20+ volunteer-coached teams of 10 to 15
players each. It is the mission of AYBS to teach the fundamentals of the game as well as
to provide competitive league play and to participate in area tournaments. Please help us
in fulfilling this mission and consider becoming a General or Team Sponsor.

Atkinson Softball News 2009
Atkinson Softball this year has joined up with the Southern NH Softball League consisting of teams from Atkinson, Plaistow, Sandown, Danville, Newton, Hampstead, and Epping. We joined this league to keep our games more local and to expand our summer program for girls at all levels.
With some support and volunteerism from parents we will be combining girls from the entire SNHSL to put together teams for all levels of play at all ages. Our Babe Ruth tourney teams will be more competitive and our week night teams will have more girls to choose from in order to fill rosters at all levels. The more teams we have the more volunteers we will need for coaching ect.

2009 AYBS Election Results
The Atkinson Youth Baseball and Softball Annual Meeting was this past Wednesday, October 29. Elections were held with the following unanimous results:
President: Rich Ventura
Vice President: Ralph Polichetti
Secretary: Doug Dow
Treasurer: Christine Lewis Morse
Player Agent: Brad Hughes
Safety Officer: Russ Graves

Many thanks to those who stepped up to meet the needs of the league, especially to Rich and Doug who did not come to the meeting expecting to be on the ballot.
