THE OFFICIAL TALBOT HISTORY
The history of Auchinleck Talbot was published in 1989 by lifelong fan Jim McAuley. It charts the history of the club, and in some ways the history of Junior football. The book contains short histories on the village (by John Davidson) and Ayrshire Junior football. Described by the Absolute Game (Scotland's largest fanzine) as a gritty look at a club by a man who was certainly not an academic, but a dyed in the wool supporter. There is only 15 copies of the book left so to capture one get in touch with Jim McAuley at 27 Greenbraes Drive, New Cumnock KA18 4LG. Priced £3 plus 75p p&p
