Assistant Coach

Profile:

Mike Martinez will enter his 4th year as the Rebels assistant coach in 2005. Martinez previously coached at Taylor County High (FL), Brantley County High, and Hawkinsville High. He is a tremendous asset to the Rebel coaching staff.

Coach Martinez has compiled an impressive record as a head and assistant coach. He has seen several of his former players go on to play college and minor league baseball.

Atkinson under Coach Martinez:
2002 -- Class A Playoffs "Elite Eight." Ranked 2nd for 1 week and 4th in the final poll by the GA Dugout Club. (23-8)
2003 -- Class A Playoffs (9-16)
2004 -- Class A Playoffs. Ranked 2nd by GaBaseball.net for 1 week and 3rd by GA Dugout Club for 4 weeks. (20-9)
