Arlington Southwest Little League: Scorekeepers

Scorekeepers

Thank you for volunteering to help ASWLL with Fall Ball '09 scorekeeping.     We are excited to have you as a part of the "Kings and Queens of the Diamond"!      There will be a preliminary meeting on Sept. 3rd at St. Barnabas United     Methodist Church in Arlington. Please do your best to attend.      During the meeting, we will be offering basic training for those who are new to     scorekeeping. Our umpire in chief, Todd Camp, will talk to us briefly about what     umpires prefer and how to support them during the game. We will also be covering     some new and important information in regards to our improved league!      Supplies will be handed out at the end of the meeting (ie. bags full of scorekeeping     goodies, scorebooks and t-shirts).      Again, we are looking forward to working together with you to "Know the Score"     and make our Little League the best in the city.    Thursday, Sept. 3rd     7:00 pm     St Barnabas UMC     5011 Pleasant Ridge Rd.     Arlington, TX 76016       See you there!      Kristi Camp     scorekeeper1@aswll.com   Thanks for thinking about volunteering as a part time scorekeeper for the league.  We have formed two groups--the women are "Queens of the Diamond" and the men are "Kings of the Diamond".  We have ordered special shirts for all scorekeepers to wear so that they can be quickly identified by all.  The league will also provide each volunteer with a "Scorekeeper's Bag" chock full of all sorts of goodies to help the job go as smoothly as possible.  If interested in joining either group please e mail to scorekeeper1@aswll.com and we will make sure we take good care of you.   There will be a short informational/training meeting for all volunteers interested in joining the Kings and Queens of the Diamond.  Thursday, September 3rd at 7pm we will meet at St. Barnabas UMC at 5011 West Pleasant Ridge Rd (two blocks west of Martin High School).  The meeting/training will last about an hour--we will hand out all shirts and supplies that you will need to be a part of this new and exciting group.  Any questions or comments?  Scorekeeper1@aswll.com.
