On-Field Experience For New Referees!
ASUSC - REFEREE ON-FIELD TRAINING AND INITIAL EXPERIENCE
This is an opportunity for On-The-Field experience during a practice / scrimmage game on Saturday, September 10th. If you are a new ref, or an experienced ref needing some supervised game time before the season begins, this session is for you.
DATE: Saturday, September 13th
LOCATION: Scottsdale, Mountainview Park (86th St and Mountainview Road)
TIME: NEW REFEREES tbd
RETURNING REFEREES tbd

Referee orientation and procedures meetings
Welcome to the 2008-2009 ASUSC soccer season. We look forward to meeting everyone at one of the meetings listed
below. The following information is important for all referees, new and
returning.
1. There will be two organizational meetings of which you need to attend one. These meetings will
be for review of procedures for the season and the revised pay scale.
Please plan on attending so we know you are interested in refereeing.
Tuesday September 9 at Chaparral Park meeting room
south of the pool from 7:00 to 8:00 pm.
Thursday September 11 at Mountain
View rec center from 6:30 - 7:30 pm.
YOU ONLY NEED TO ATTEND ONE OF THE MEETINGS.
2. If you are a Grade 9 and want to bridge up to a Grade 8 referee, there will
be a Bridge class offered on 9/12-13. Check the website
www.azref.com for more information.
3. There will be a field training session for new referees on Saturday Sept
20. More info will follow at the meetings.
4. If you have not recertified (either did not attend a class or did
not pass the test) please contact us for assistance.
