YOUTH BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION

Boys’ & Girls’ 3rd-6th Grades

Mission: Our mission is to support, teach, benefit, organize, manage and develop youth basketball programs specifically designed for the boys and girls of the 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th & 6^th grade in the Ashland School District.

Philosophy: Our philosophy is to offer as many young athletes as possible a chance to develop their skills, learn teamwork and enjoy the game. In addition, opportunities are available for those with advanced skills to continue to enhance their skills with more competitive play.

Permission Form:

Complete and return the attached Ashland Youth Basketball Association waiver at the AYBA registration night, October 10, 2012 at the Ashland High School Commons, 6:30 with a short parent meeting to follow at 7:00.

3^rd-4^th grade boys/girls 9:00am-10:30am LSI,LSP Gym

5^th-6^th grade boys/girls 10:30am-12:00pm LSI,LSP Gym

November 24 No Basketball Holiday Weekend

December 1 – 15

Skills Camp/Games

3^rd-4^th grade boys/girls 9:00am-10:30am LSI,LSP Gym

5^th-6^th grade boys/girls 10:30am-12:00pm LSI,LSP Gym

The 5^th and 6^th grade boys and girls teams will be eligible for the traveling teams that will start mid-Dec and will have 3-4 tournaments.
