Don't forget, this coming Saturday, October 17, 2009 (8:00 AM til 1:00 PM) is the Electronics Waste Collection Fundraiser. Please let us know if you have any questions! If you haven't already confirmed the time that you will be there to help out, please let us know as soon as possible. Now is the time that we hit the advertising hard to make this fundraiser a success! Check around your home, your office, your street, etc. Makes sure you share the flyer with everyone in your email address book, your coworkers, family and friends!! Ashland Little League is participating in a cell phone drive fundraiser! We are collecting working cell phones! Working means that the phone can be turned on and connected to a service provider. Any working phone is accepted regardless of age, make or model!
We currently have a collection box in the Huntington Learning Center lobby. Their address is:
15071 East 14th Street in the Fairmont Square
San Leandro, CA 94578
You can visit their location and drop off phones during regular business hours:
Monday thru Thursday - 9:30 a.m. til 8:30 p.m.
Friday's - 3:00 p.m. til 7:00 p.m.
Saturday's - 9:00 a.m. til 3:00 p.m.
Sunday's - they are closed
If you would like to make a bulk donation that needs to be picked up in the local area, please contact us at: ashlandinfo@yahoo.com. Bulk pick ups need to consist of at least 20 phones.
