| Even in defeat the ASH Trojans should not hang their heads. The Alexandria Daily Town Talk has missed an incredible story. ASH played their playoff game with Istrouma with class and courage. Only once in my playing and coaching career have I seen anything which stirred my heart more than the determination of a team and their coach last Tuesday nite. An incredibile comeback against a very good Istrouma team came up just short. Never have I walked away from a defeat with such a sense of pride as I did that night. I want all the young men on ASH's team and Coach Tinsley to know that many people associated with ASH over the years are very proud of this team. Thank you for a great season. |

| Congratulations Trojans on the finest season in the 42 year history of Alexandria Senior High. Now the opportunity to do even greater things in the playoffs. Never underestimate your opponent. Never fear your opponent. Seniors,play the rest of your games as though it were your last. Underclassmen, take this opportunity by the horns. It may never come your way again. Good Luck and play hard. |

| I'm a former Trojan triple athlete, currently living out of town; have not been to an ASH basketball game for probably about 20 to 25 years; extremely excited about this year's team; will be coming in for the Peabody game Tuesday night; Congratulations to Coaches Tinsley and Neal and all of the "Men of Troy" for your success so far this season; looking forward to seeing ya'll and Good Luck against the Warhorses and in the playoffs! |
