Overview
During the Spring 1999 season, the Arsenal VIVA Force, then called the Arsenal Tornadoes, played in the Nebraska Soccer League's Division 1 league. Finishing the season 6-0-1, the Force dominated the league and were the Division 1 champions. For the fall of 1999 and the spring of 2000, the Force moved up to the U-12 girls Premier Division, competing with the top teams in the state of Nebraska. While they didn’t win all of their games, they competed well against almost every team they played. The players made tremendous progress developing their individual and team skills during this year. During the indoor season the Force won the fall indoor league at the Indoor Soccer Center. They then finished second in the winter indoor league at the Indoor Soccer Center, losing the championship game to the State Cup championship team. The Force finished the spring 2000 season by winning the Columbus tournament over Memorial Day weekend, in which seven U12G teams competed.
The Fall 2000 season saw the Force move up to the U13 Premier division and seven new players join the team. This was definitely a rebuilding season, and the team worked hard to improve their play, learn to play together, and get to know one another, all while competing in the highest division in the state. The season was not as successful as many would have liked in terms of wins vs. losses, but valuable lessons were learned and the team improved throughout the season. A highlight of this season was winning the 11th Annual Yorkfest Soccer Tournament in September.
In the Spring 2001 season, the Force showed improvement in nearly every area of the game. They finished runner-up in the Eastern Bluffs Optimist's Spring Kick-off in April and in the Columbus Invite in May. They also finished 5th in a tough premier league with a record of 3-3-2.
In the Fall 2001 season, the Force moved up to the U14 Premier division and five new players joined the team. The Force finished sixth in the always-tough Premier League with a record of 2-4-1, including a tie with the reigning State Cup champions, and highlighted the season with a semi-final berth in the tough Urbandale tournament and a second place finish in the Sioux City Fall Finale soccer tournament in October.
In the Spring 2002 season, the Force again finished sixth with a 0-3-3 in the shrinking Premier division. The number of teams competing in the league has shrunk from 10 in Fall 2000 to 8 now. The season was a tough one for the Force, but was highlighted by a good 2-2 showing at the very tough Just For Girls tournament in April, in which teams from 9 mid-west states competed.

Coaches Information
John Steele has coached girl’s soccer for eight years. He began coaching at Millard Star in 1995. The Arsenal Tornadoes formed in 1997, and John has been a coach with the Tornadoes for the last six years. He has his USSF D, E, F, and GK licenses and has obtained the NSCAA National coaching license. Ken Dirks has 26 years of coaching experience with soccer, baseball, basketball, and track. Ken has his USSF C license and has coached soccer for 7 years at Lewis and Clark Middle School.

The Force is the 2004 Lincoln Cup champions!
The Force disolved during the 2004 summer as several players decided to look at other options or leave club soccer altogether. Many of the player continued to play on their high school teams and contribute to the success of these teams.
