Arroyo Grande Youth Rugby: Welcome
Established in 2010, AG Youth Rugby is rapidly expanding and offers play in the following age divisions: U12, U14, and High School (incoming Freshman - Senior). This fast paced game originated from Soccer and is the fastest growing sport in the United States. We are currently in our Summer Seven's Season and fielding the first AG High School Team. Practices are on Tuesday and Thursday nights 5:30pm - 7pm at the Riverbottom Field in AG. We will be participating in the Palo Also Sevens Tournament on the following dates: June 25, July 9, July 23. Students from any local high school (AG, Nipomo, Righetti, Santa Maria, St. Joes, SLO, Paso, Morro Bay, Atasc.) who are currently enrolled in High School or will be for the 2011-12 school year are invited to play. Equipment needed: cleats (without toe cleat-soccer cleats work fine) and a mouthguard.
