Arrowhead Little League in Glendale Arizona: 2012 Spring Divisions
All 11 & 12 yr. olds with prior baseball experience must try out for the Major Division. Players will be placed using a draft system.
All 12 yr. olds are required to play in the Major division.
Any 11 yr. old not drafted to the Major Division will be drafted to the Minor Division; and is eligible to be moved up to the Major Division during the season to fill a vacancy.
10 yr. olds with exceptional skills may tryout for the Major division.
AAA Minors
All 9 & 10 yr. olds with prior baseball experience must try out for the AAA Minor Division. Players will be placed using a Draft system. 9 & 10 yr. olds that do not get drafted to the AAA Minor Division will be placed in the AA Division; and are eligible to be moved up to the AAA Minor Division to fill a vacancy during the season.
11 yr. olds who do not get drafted to the Major Division will be drafted to the AAA Minor Division and will be eligible to be moved up to the Major Division during the season to fill a vacancy.
8 yr. olds with exceptional skills may tryout for AAA.
AA (Kid Pitch)
Ages 7-10. Beginning Kid Pitch. Players are not drafted. All 9 & 10-year-olds who are not drafted in Majors or AAA play in AA.
You may request your child play AA instead of AAA.
7-year-olds are eligible to play AA upon passing a special AHLL safety try-out.
A (Coach Pitch)
8 yr. Olds with no prior organized baseball.
(8 Yr. Olds with at least 1 yr. of A/Coach Pitch may play A or AA, based on parents choice)
7 Yr. Olds with 1 yr. of TBall may play TBall or A, based on parents choice.
6 Yr. Olds with 2 yr. of TBall may play TBall or A, based on parents choice.
T-Ball
All 4 & 5 yr. Olds
6 Yr. Olds with 1 yr. of TBall or Less
6 Yr. Olds with 2 yr. of TBall will be placed in TBall or A, based on parent choice.
7 Yr. Olds with no prior organized baseball experience
7 Yr. Olds with 1 yr. of Tball will be placed in TBall or A based on parents choice
Juniors
13 & 14 year olds.
Seniors
15 & 16 Yr. Olds must tryout for the Senior Division. All players will be placed in the Senior Division using a Draft System. 14 Yr. olds players will only be drafted to Seniors on a space available system.
