The undefeated Armstrong Falcons head into the first round of play-offs tonight (Monday 7/6). 

 The first round game is at 5:00pm on field A against Maple Grove. 

Game 2 is at 6:00pm

 If Armstrong defeats Maple Grove - they will play the winner of Benilde/Tonka on field B

If Armstrong loses to Maple Grove - they will play the loser of Benilde/Tonka on field C

The NW Metro summer league schedule is announced for the first week - June 16th and June 18th. 

Armstrong will add some players from Elk River for one team.  Their first game is against Andover/Anoka on Tuesday 6/16 at 7:00pm.  The 2nd game on Thursday 6/18 will also be played at 7:00pm against Spring Lake Park/Champlin Park. 

All games will be played at Willowstone Park - 1909 95th Ave N in Brooklyn Park.  Go to "field locations" tab for a map and directions. 

As soon as next week's schedule is announced, I will post and send out. 

The 2009 Junior Gold game schedule has been announced.   The Armstrong Varsity and JV players will compete in this 9 team league. 

 The schedule is posted on the "Game Schedule" tab - under Junior Gold season.  Regular season games will be double-headers played on Mondays, June 15th, 22nd, and 29th.  All games will be at the Blake Middle School - 110 Blake Road S in Hopkins.   The game schedule will show which field the game is on by the letter denoted with each opponent on the schedule.   Maple Grove - #D is the first game.  Our opponent is Maple Grove- playing on Field D.

Interest is growing for various camps.  It seems that we will have a record number of players participating in lacrosse camps this summer. 

 A couple camps have incentives for teams and participants.  If you are planning to go to a summer camp - please notify Joel Scalzo - we're interested in knowing the participation and feedback from each camp.  If you are planning to attend the St John's Camp, also notify Julie Carpenter at aclax@gmail.com - there may be a group discount that participants qualify for.

The Lacrosse Booster Club will sponsor this years skills and drills sessions again this summer. 

These sessions will begin on Wednesday, June 17th.  There will be six consecutive sessions thrugh July 23rd.   Each session will last two hours at the High School Stadium, and will focus on team and individual player development.   There is a $25 fee that includes all 6 sessions.  Players interested should sign up through Joel Scalzo.
