The Camabl will have it's first ever Fall League for the 2008 baseball season.  The season will run from the last weekend in august thru the third weekend in october with a single elimination tournament scheduled for the last weekend in october- weather permitting.

The structure of the Fall League will be a min. of 4 teams with the cost being 150.00 dollars per player with a min. of 15 players - once a team signs up/pays for 15 players then up to 5 more players can be added (for a total roster of 20) at a cost of 50.00 per player up to the 5 max.

Games will be played at Curtis Walker Field in Conway on Friday night and Sunday afternoon- with a possibility of Saturday night double headers - but any variance off the friday night/sunday afternoon schedule will be voted on by the Fall League Coaches and depending on if more than 4 teams sign up.

This should provide a 16 game schedule at a cost cheaper than the summer league. plus a guaranteed  1 playoff game min.   Deadline for sign up and all money to be in is  August 8th

Also:   I will be entering a 30 and older team in the Fall league for the 2008 season - any one meeting this age requirement - whether affiliated with the league or not can contact me for information pertaining to this team.  It is my plans to add a 30 and over division next year with a summer season starting mid  to late june/july and running thru september.  So no matter what team you are affiliated with for the 18 and over summer division- you will have the chance to play both league's next year and would like you to consider playing with the 30 and over team during the fall league if you intend to play both.  If you are 30 years or older and will only play 18 and over next year then of course stay with your current team during fall league.

1) ALL CAMABL 1st and 3rd Base coaches in coach's boxes will be REQUIRED to wear protective head gear (helmets). -1st warning goes to the base coach - 2nd warning goes to the team - third time - head coach is ejected from the game.

2) Foul/abusive language and throwing equipment will not be tolerated.  A violation will get you a 1-3 game suspension and a possible expulsion from the league.

3) Make sure the dugouts/field etc. are as clean if not cleaner when you leave as when you arrive.  In between games, please be sure to work on the field to get it ready for the second game, by using the rakes that were provided last year.

4) Hustle on and off the field.

5) If you have 10 players at the park you have to bat 10, unless you have less than 10.

6) Slide rule is in affect at all times.  This means a defender can not block the plate or a bag without the ball nor can they fake a tag.

7) All teams must announce offensive additions, substitutions, and/or changes to the home plate umpire AND opposing team manager and/or scorekeeper. Only after this has been done will the added player be deemed a legal substitution.  If a team fails to announce an offensive addition/change, the player will be called out as soon as he occupies the batter’s box and the lineup will revert back to the lineup in effect prior to the player entering the game. 

The Central Arkansas Men's Adult Baseball League is a hardball league for men 18 and over. The competition level ranges from ex-pros, current & former college players, and high-school & competitive summer league players.
