Arizona Saguaros Volleyball Club Athlete Information will be provided to each recruiter
A Professional Trainer will be made available: One goal of the Arizona Saguaros Volleyball Club has always been to help young volleyball players realize their dreams of playing in college. Sometimes, merely publicizing their exploits isn’t enough. College coaches have to see these talented athletes up close and personal. With our new facility the stage is set to do just that. We will provide college recruiters with the best opportunity to see the athletes at their best. The Arizona Volleyball Recruiting Combine (AVRC) will be held just one day after the Memorial Day Classic. All participants who have already registered with the Arizona Saguaros for the MDC will not need to re-register with us to participate in the showcase. Your information will already be made available to the attending college recruiters. The AVRC is for all 10th, 11th, and 12th grade athletes you do not have to be a participant of the MDC to participate in the AVRC event. This event is open to all club and high school players who have not yet signed. You will have the chance to demonstrate your abilities in front of recruiters from across the nation. This is a perfect opportunity for those players who would normally have limited exposure to college coaches because of their out of state location, or because they are playing in a club that doesn't travel to any of the major junior events (Qualifiers). We expect anywhere from 50-100 college coaches to attend this event all levels are expected. Exactly who will be at the event can be viewed by checking back. Please be aware that many coaches won't register until just a few days before the event.
1. The Arizona Volleyball Recruiting Combine is for 10th, 11th and 12th grade age players. Note after this year the ARVC will be evaluated to see if the age groups should be split for next years combine. 4. The AVRC will take place in several waves, with courts reserved specifically for outside hitters, defensive players, middles and setters. You can only participate in one session. 5. Each participant will recieve an individual number by University Athlete for tracking and a number to be afixed on their shirt. Each age group will have their own colored shirt so recruiters can easily indentify each group. 6. Parents: you are invited, but remember that this combine is for your kids and college coaches. Please follow all instructions about where to sit/stand so that coaches may move easily from court to court to observe. No parents will be allowed on any court for any reason. 7. A recruiters list will be made available as recruiters register.
You will know your court assignment and time before you arrive to check in for the AVRC. You can only participate in one wave of the combine. Drills at the AVRC
