Arizona Saguaros Volleyball Events
 

The Arizona Saguaros will be hosting several tournaments and events this year.  These tournaments are not sanctioned events they are concidered friendly tournaments.  All our tournaments will have one paid certified official per court unless otherwise specified.  Each official will be paid a flat rate of $25 per match.  Each certified official will be paid at the end of each shift or day of the tournament.  Certified officials will reserve each job on a first come first serve basis Jr refs welcome.  If you are interested in becoming an official for one of our tournaments please contact us.  

We will also be co-hosting tournaments with other valley clubs to bring more opportunity to our members.



Arizona Kickoff

2010 Arizona Kickoff

Kingdom Courts and the Arizona Sports Academy presents the 2010 Arizona Kickoff Volleyball Invitational for 12s-14s.  This Friendship tournament is open to all volleyball clubs and offers a great opportunity for coaches and players to familiarize with USAV formats and rules. 

  • 12’s (Jan 9th and 10th), 16 team max, $150/team, registration due no later than Dec 30th
  • 15-16’s (Jan 9th), 12 teams max, $120/team, registration due no later than Jan 4th
  • 13-14’s (Jan 16-18th), 32 teams max, $300/team, registration due no later than Dec 30th    
  1. Format and wave similar to USAV qualifier or Regional competition
  2. Up ref will be provided on each court. Coaches/Players will assist with score keeping, line and down ref
  3. Teams will be taken on a first come first serve basis. 32 teams max, $300/team, registration is due no later than Dec 30th
  4. 7-9 matches

Medals provided to 1st and 2nd place winners in each division.

2010 Arizona AAU Wigwam Super Regional


Welcome to the 4th Annual Arizona AAU Wigwam Super Regional 2010.  Hosted by the Arizona Saguaros Volleyball Club.  These will be two one day events.

Winners receive FREE* entry into 2010 AAU National Championships in Orlando, FL on June 12-20, 2010! *Winning teams in age divisions with 10 or more teams will earn a free entry to AAU Nationals.  In divisions with less than 10 teams, the entry to AAU Nationals will be % discounted.  The AAU Nationals are open to any team, no qualifying required.

This tournament is an open event to all registered AAU Players and teams.  Only 10 teams per division so register now.  All daily results and tournament flow chart will be updated and available on line.

We will keep regsitering teams up to the deadline March 1st 2010.

Will take place on Sunday morning the day of the tournament at the registration desk you must provide a copy of your players birth certs and AAU membership cards at the time of check-in.  An online laptop will be available with printer if needed.

Plus a Champions Travel Cup that the grand champion will take back to their school to display for one year.  Each champion will have their school name placed on the cup to mark their victory year.  The following year the champion school will return the cup to be won again by the next grand champion.
