Distict 12 Annouces a New Office
November 19, 2007, Arizona District 12 annoucnes the new office. It is located at 5399 E. 29th Street in Tucson AZ. The phone number to contact the office is (520)790-5161. The size of the entire office is 800 square feet of space. It has a recption area with a glass display case of historical Little League items, an office for the Umpire in Chief, an office for the District Adminstrator and a 20' x 20' meeting room. This office is a definate improvement for the visibility of Little League in Tucson.
The District 12 office meeting area is usable for up to 35 people for training. We will be hosting training for Player Agents, League Officials, Umpires and Safety Officers. The most amazing part of this whole program is the donation fo the office space by Chic Hasse Photo. The family has allowed us to improve the facility to our needs at very little cost to District 12 Little League. The Hasse family had to relocate some storage to make room for us otherwise the facility was in pretty good shape. Manpower to restore the office to it intended use as a meeting facility was done by Little League Volunteers. All of the electrical and mechanical work was donated. The District paid only for a portion of the caperted floor and the new drop ceiling matierials.
