Welcome To The Arena Youth Football League Web-Site!
The AFA is a Select Indoor Football League that will began on February 17, 2008. The AFA started as an idea to allow youth players in our area an opportunity to play select indoor football after the regular football season had ended. The AFA follows the same rules as the Arena Football League with slight variations geared towards our youth. With several dedicated coaches, players and parents, this dream quickly became reality.
The AFA would like to acknowledge New York, Washington, Ohio, Connecticut and our home state of Texas as leaders in this great sport we have trademaked Arena Football Academy. The AFA openly invites other cities around the country to become involved with this great sport of select youth indoor football. It is our dream to see the the AFA spread across the nation allowing for national championship games to be held. For more information please contact us.
National Championship Games:
The AFA has entered into discussions with the New York league regarding the possibility of holding national championship games in 2008. The New York League has formally invited our Washington State AFA to travel to Long Island, New York later this year. Washington, Connecticut, and Ohio were also invited. The New York League has arranged for accommodations, venue, and national media coverage of the event. There are several discussions to be held with all involved. We are working on details of rule variations, ages, dates, etc. As you can imagine, there is an enormous amount of work and planning to be done. We are very excited about this incredible opportunity for our youth.
2008 Applications:
The AFA is now accepting application for the 2008 season on a first come first served basis. We have placed the 2008 league application forms here on our web-site under the Handouts tab. Open and save this form. Complete the application and e-mail the form to arenafootball.academy@gmail.com. The AFA has voted to allow six divisions of players for the 2008 season. These divisions will be based on participation interest at each level. Our goal will be to allow 8 teams in each division. This is always subject to change based on avilability of the venues. The AFA will require a minimum of 4 teams.

Flag Age 4-5 Bantam Age 6-7 Pee Wee Age 8-9
Midget Age 10-11 Juniors Age 12-13 Seniors Age 14-15
