The host team Bartow,Florida was not very hospitible to Texarkana in defeating them 12-1 in the first round of the Dixie Youth AAA World Series. Andrew LeGrand had Texarkana only hit, a RBI double to deep center field. Texarkana will play Columbia, Mississippi in a 4:30 contest on Sunday
