Virginia defeated Searcy to put them out of the tournament, while Texarkana was beaten by Texas, but will stay alive and play Louisiana at 10AM on Monday.

Texarkana defeats Virginia, Searcy loses to Texas
Texarkana defeated Appomattox,Virgina in the first round of the Dixie Youth O Zone World Series in Cleveland, Mississippi. Texarkana advances to play Mt Pleasant, Texas in the second round. Meanwhile, Searcy suffers a first round loss at the hands of Mt Pleasant, Texas, and will play Appomattox, Virginia in the second round. The games can be viewed on Jockjive.com.

We will have two teams representing Arkansas thsi year in Cleveland, Mississippi . Searcy and Texarkana will represent our state in the tournament starting this weekend.
