Arbutus Baseball fans and families, we need you help for one of our own.

Brent Swaltek, a seven (7) year old in our Rookie league has been diagnosed with leukemia and is in Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh.

In an effort to assist in these difficult times a checking account has been opened in Keith Swaltek’s name at Somerset Trust for the benefit of his son.  Any and all donations to this account would be greatly appreciated.  Donations will be accepted at all Somerset Trust branches.  Mail-in donations will only be accepted at the Scalp Ave. Branch at 1416 Scalp Avenue Johnstown, PA 15904 in care of Keith Swaltek.

The league will put up a donation, we would like to offer anyone else  who wants to also contribute to please do so.

You can send your money/check to: Arbutus Baseball, P.O. Box 5066, Johnstown, Pa 15904 as well as the Somerset Trust Bank.  Or next week during our tournaments you can drop off donations at the concession stand.  In addition, we will have a collection jar set up during the tournaments to accept contributions from other teams and visitors that are there.
