Summer 2009 Season Is Almost Over!

Don't forget to turn in your uniforms!  You must turn in your uniform and have completed all your volunteer hours to get your uniform deposit back.  PLEASE NOTE THESE ADDITIONAL UNIFORM RETURN TIMES:  JULY 8th from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm; JULY 11th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm; JULY 12th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

If you would like to follow the Arapahoe Little League All Star teams, please check out the schedules for all District 5 games at http://www.eteamz.com/codist5/index.htm.  Scroll down the home page to find our teams.  We will be hosting the 10 - 11 year old District 5 competition at our park.

In order to get the complex ready for the tournament, we will be having a clean-up session on Friday, July 10th, starting at 6 pm.  This is a great way to get your volunteer hours in.  We also need some help hosting the tournament itself.  We will need volunteers to count pitches, run the scoreboards, staff the concession stand, and handle other tasks.

The final volunteer opportunity of the season will be on Saturday, July 25th.  Starting at 8 am we will be closing the complex down, taking down the nets, cleaning everything up, etc.   If you can spare some time, especially if you still need to complete your volunteer hours, please make plans to help out.

Volunteer requirement - ALL is run entirely by volunteers.  No one gets paid a dime to make this league work.  To ensure that we are able to make your child's baseball experience as terrific as possible, ALL FAMILIES are required to volunteer 10 hours in the course of the season.  This could be keeping the scorebook for your team, running the electronic scoreboard at the field, helping clean and groom the fields, or, of course, being a manager, coach, or team parent for your child's team.  Please click on the Handouts section on the left side of this home page for the form you fill out to volunteer or coach.  PLEASE NOTE THAT FAMILIES WHO HAVE NOT COMPLETED THEIR 10 HOURS BY THE END OF THE SEASON WILL NOT GET THEIR UNIFORM DEPOSIT BACK.
