Aragona Pembroke is one of the oldest little leagues in the city of Virginia Beach, with 52 years of service to the youth of our community. Through our league, children age 4 through 18, learn fundamentals, teamwork, discipline, character, loyalty and how to have fun. We offer tee ball, softball, baseball and Challenger divisions in both the spring and the fall.
Registration for the APLL Spring Season will take place at Witchduck Bingo Hall (located at 660 N Witchduck Road in Virginia Beach):
Saturday, January 21st = Noon to 4pm
Saturday, January 28th = Noon to 2pm
(Save HALF off the Registration Fee per player when you register in January!)
Sunday, February 12th = 1 to 3pm
LAST CHANCE - Saturday, February 25th = Noon to 2pm All returning players must be registered by February 25th by 2pm.
ALL players should bring their birth certificate and 3 proof of residency documents to sign up. For more information regarding acceptable proof of residency documents please see the handout link below.
Registration Fees for the 2012 Spring Season are: League Age 4 through 8 = $50 plus mandatory fundraiser League Age 9 through 10 = $65 plus mandatory fundraiser
League Age 11 through 12 = $75 plus mandatory fundraiser
League Age 13 through 16 = $85 plus mandatory fundraiser
All Challengers = free registration - must do mandatory fundraiser Family Cap = $190 (Applies only to registration fees - not to fundraisers)
Virginia District 8 Big League Programs = $90 (No discounts apply)
Softball - League Age 14 through 18
Baseball - League Age 15 through 18
Big League players are subject to a district-wide tryout if not currently vested to a team.
We accept cash, checks, and NEW for 2012 - credit/debit cards!
All players registering for the APLL spring season must commit to a mandatory fundraiser at the time of registration. Big League players may be subject to a fundraiser during the season.
Fundraiser choices for 2012 are:
World's Finest Chocolate (pay $50 at registration, sell the candy bars and keep the proceeds)
Joe Corbi's Pizza (minimum sale of 10 items per player - payment must be submitted with orders)
Cash Buyout ($35)
Please noted that fundraiser items may be limited -- and individuals registering at later sessions may not have all the selections to choose from.
APLL Registration Fee Scholarships are available - applications will be available during our registration sessions.
Opening Day for the APLL Spring Season will be Saturday, March 31st. Closing Day will be Saturday, June 16th. Handout: Proof of Residency Documents
Area Baseball coaches will have an opportunity to attend a Coaches School conducted by the nationally recognized Doyle Baseball School on March 10, 2012 in Virginia Beach. The Coaches School will be held from 1pm to 4pm at the Aragona Pembroke Little League complex located at 595 De Laura Lane. Coaches at all levels are welcome to attend the school, which teaches coaches how to instruct their players in hitting, throwing and fielding. the school will also cover topics such as organizing practices, making practices fun and player motivation. Also covered are safety and liability issues, which will allow each coach to receive $2,000,000 of personal liability coverage for attending the program. The fee for the Coaches School is $20 per coach, however individuals who have submitted an application to manage or coach a 2012 APLL team are invited to attend the session at no charge, courtesy of Aragona Pembroke Little League. Although our Fall Ball Season has ended, you can still support the league through our Bingo Sessions at Witchduck Hall all year long! Bingo is the major fundraising activity for Aragona Pembroke Little League and enables us to keep our registration costs low. Our sessions run every: Wednesday Morning - games begin at 10:30am Wednesday Evening - games begin at 6:30pm Friday Morning - games begin at 10:30am Witchduck Hall is located at 660 North Witchduck Road in Virginia Beach and features an enclosed smoke-free Bingo room, security, great parking, easy entry for the handicapped, an ATM in the hall and a great Novelty Shop & Snack Bar.

APLL is proud to announce that both our Big League Baseball and Big League Softball teams won their respective District 8 Championships -- and were awarded flags on Sunday, June 19th! Congratulations to both teams -- and for those continuing on to the State Tournaments, representing District 8 -- GOOD LUCK!

Welcome to www.myapll.com, the official site of Aragona Pembroke Little League. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I invite you to attend our next General Membership meeting on February 6, 2012 at 7pm at Witchduck Hall. Witchduck Hall is located at 660 North Witchduck Road and is where APLL hosts Bingo sessions to raise funds for our league. By attending General Membership meetings, you will stay informed regarding League business and events. Our meetings offer you the opportunity to ask questions, make suggestions and, if you are a Voting Member, have a say on League issues.
