Apple Valley Lacrosse: Welcome

Welcome to the Apple Valley High School Lacrosse website. If you have news or information you would like posted, experience problems with this site, or have a question please contact Apple Valley Lacrosse .

If your contact
information has changed, please send an email to the Apple Valley Lacrosse link above so we can update your records.  Our primary means of communication continues to be the website, but we do send emails out as well.

Although the school will handle some of the tasks once taken care of by the Booster Club, there is still the need for an active Booster Club and parent volunteers. The work is not hard and we encourage you to work in pairs or groups. If you have questions, please send an email to Apple Valley Lacrosse .

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

As I am sure some of you have heard; the NCAA has changed the required size measurements of the heads used in college and SOME high school games.

The league did this to make the game "more competitive".  College players will have to buy all new heads for the 2010 season and all "old" heads will be considered illegal.

Here is the information I have now:

We (Apple Valley and all of Minnesota) are NOT required to use the new heads.  We are under the National Federation of High Schools rule requirements.

Current Apple Valley players DO NOT need to buy a head meeting the new specifications.  I am guessing that most lacrosse retailers will sell BOTH types of heads (old rules and new rules) for awhile longer.

Any questions, please let me know.

Thanks.
