The Bard College Volleyball camp is designed to follow USA Volleyball training strategies. The staff enhances skills in eager athletes that have the desire to improve their knowledge in a fun and upbeat atmosphere. Under the guidance of an experienced and veteran staff, campers will learn from demonstrations, skill training, team development sessions and lecture instruction. The campers will be exposed to modern volleyball while training in the Stevenson Gymnasium on the college's campus. Both the modified/junior varsity and varsity camps will prepare the participants for their fall volleyball seasons, as either new players to the sport who are hoping to join a team, or to returning players who want to polish their level of play as they prepare to return to their teams for competition. The evening team camp focuses on advanced strategies for groups that are entering their league fall seasons with an emphasis on high tempo drills, offensive sytems and specialized training for positions.
