Senior Gold: Welcome

A valiant effort was made bythe Eagles in a tough match up against the very large Moorpark Saints.  Ultimately, the Eagles fell 30 to6.  However, there was severalamazing performances from the swine flu plagued team!

 A few key highlights for theEagles:

·    Armstrong (#2) with atouchdown saving tackle! Incredibly amazing given size differentials.

·    Strong defense(including Pedroza, Glaser, Whitney, Ash, Sieling) forced four fumbles…

·    In the lone scoringdrive, with great offensive blocking (including Reichow, Polanco, Ruben,Donnelly), Quarterback Finch ran 20-yards to the goal for a touchdown!

The team was disappointedwith the final score…yet they never gave up.  Onward and upward to next week.  Go Eagles!
