| I was a member of A.O.C. during the 1970's. One of teammates and friends was Kim Gallagher. Although she passed in 2002, I happened across her obituary in the web archives of Philadelphia. I can't believe the irony of such an amazing runner to pass so soon in life. We ran on the same relay teams, and traveled across the country with AOC. Mr. Wilson was our coach and I can't imagine how he must have felt. I just wanted to thank the AOC for giving me the opportunity to have been friends with the most talented runner I had ever known. It was a time in my life I will never forget, and Kim will always be part of that era. God bless Kim Gallagher. Patty Watson-Haer |
