Ansonia Little League: 2009 Season Divisions
Extension of the Instructional division. Here players continue to develop the basic skills of the sport. While teams compete, Ansonia coaches focus on skill development and team concepts. Players pitch. Little League rules with local modifications apply. Games are played in Ansonia and at surrounding towns in District 3. Fun atmosphere, everybody plays.
Ansonia Little League Softball Minors
Extension of the Instructional division. Here players work on skills and team concepts. Follow Little League rules with local midifications. Players play in Ansonia and surrounding District 3 towns.
Ansonia Little League Softball Majors
Continues LL development program where skills continue to be honed. Competitive program, but focus remains on player development and good sportsmanship. Spring season is preparation for LL tournament play.
Ansonia Little League Baseball Majors
Further extension of Little League program. A bit more competitive, but spring season still focuses on skill development and good sportsmanship. Players are encouraged to take sport more seriously, work hard, and become better players.
