ANSLL Annual Membership Meeting
Notice to all Spring and Fall,
This is to announce the Annual Membership meeting for Annandale North
Springfield Little League (ANSLL) will be held Wednesday October 4th
at 7pm at Wakefield Forest Elementary Library.
The purpose of this meeting is to elect the new Board of Directors for
2007. Article V Section 1 of the ANSLL Constitution states that:
"The annual meeting of the Members of ANSLL shall be held the first
Wednesday of October or November each year for the purpose of electing
a Board of Directors and Members, receiving reports and for the
transaction of such business as may properly come before the meeting.
After the Board of Directors is elected, the board shall meet to elect
the officers."
If you would like to be nominated for the Board of Directors please
contact president@ansll.org. You do not need to be in attendance to
be considered for a position but you must be nominated and approved by
the Regular Members.
Note: Regular Members of the league automatically include all current
Managers, Coaches, Volunteer Umpires, Board Members, and any other
person who is recognized by the Board as a volunteer. Any person
actively interested in furthering the objectives of ANSLL may become a
regular member upon filling a designated volunteer position.
Basically, if you filled out a LL volunteer form this year you are a
Regular Member and have a vote in electing the new BoD.
