T-Ball Questions?
First, T-Ball "generally" starts playing games the weekend after the May 24th long weekend. We like to get the kids out to a few practices before that date. We won't get our game schedules, issued by South Simcoe, until after the coaches meeting an May 13th. That is also when we find out who we will be playing and where we will be travelling to.
We are still looking for a few more T-Ball kids and have not yet finalized the rosters. T-Ball kids always seem to come out of the rafters at the last minute. We like to hold off a little longer for them. As soon as we give out the rosters and equipment to the coaches, they can start practices as soon as they like.
Almost all T-Ball games start at 9:00 am on Saturday mornings. There will occasionally be a game played through the week. Games usually are one and a half hours long, two or three inning games. You play one week at 'Home' and the next week 'Away'. Last year we played Wasaga Beach, Ivy, Collingwood, New Lowell, Innisfil, Stroud, and Stayner. Every year the schedule will change according to what towns submit what teams. Example: Collingwood had two teams last year but can only field one this year and Ivy can't field a team at all, etc. (I hope this makes sense to you.) You also have one practice a week. They are usually one hour practices.
If you have any other questions or know of any kids wanting to sign up, please let us know.
