2008/9 Angels Player Identification Camp
Angels Fastball Organization will host its Player Identification Camp for the 2009 season Saturday, September 6th and Sunday, September 7th. Girls born in the following years are encouraged to come out: Squirt (1997-1998), Peewee (1995-1996), Bantam (1993-1994), Midget (1992-1990). Angels Midget Finish 5th At 2008 Nationals
Congratulations to the Angels Midget team for finishing 5th overall at the 2008 Midget National Fastpitch Championships in Stellarton, Nova Scotia. The Angels finished with a record of 6 wins, 3 losses. Two losses came at the hands of the eventual Gold Medal winning Surrey Storm and the third loss came against defending champions and eventual Bronze Medal winning Markham Jaquars.
Congratulations to all team members for a great showing. Paige Smith won an all-star selection in the OF for her round robin play.

2008 Minor Provincial Championships - Midget 'A' Girls
The Angels were declared Midget 'A' Provincial Champions for the 2008 season after winning the round robin portion of the Provincial Championships this past weekend at John Blumberg Softball Complex. The team went through the round robin with a 6-1 record, winning six straight after a first game loss to Brandon Source for Sports Magic.
Congratulations on a fine season Ladies! Good luck at Nationals in August at Stellarton, Nova Scotia.

2008 Minor Provincial Championships - Bantam 'A' Girls
The Bantam Provincial Championships for 2008 are being held July 18-20 at John Blumberg Softball Complex. See Softball Manitoba's website for a complete draft of the draw.

2008 Minor Provincial Championships - Peewee 'A' Girls
Despite not medaling at the 2008 Provincials, the Peewee Angels finished off the season in dramatic fashion. The team played a solid weekend of ball at the Provincials, finishing at 3-3 during the round robin and then losing a tiebreaker game for third place, a Bronze medal and a trip to the Western Canadian Championships to the Brandon Source for Sports Magic.
Congratulations to the team on a fine 2008 season. A great showing at all tournaments, proves that improvements are being made and you are competitive with all teams in the division.
