Recently broke Brian Macrina's all time career hit record at Merrimack College.... Hit .315 in 33 games for the Chiefs in 2007 with a team leading 35 hits....Northeast-10 First Team selection and Northeast region selection in both 2007 & 2008 and is expected to repeat those honors again this year...In 2007, led the Northeast-10 with a .388 average...Four year starter for Head Coach Joe Sarno at Merrimack....Played his high school ball at St. John's of Shrewsbury....Son of Jeff and Karen Bercume of Leicester, MA
